Booking and Payment

Written confirmation by email or otherwise is required to make a booking.

To secure the booking, a deposit of 50% is required. This amount will go towards the overall cost upon completion of the shoot.

Please note that payment of the deposit is taken as confirmation of acceptance of Laura Hotz Photography’s terms and conditions.

The deposit is fully refundable if Laura fails to attend the session or the client is not happy with the quality of the images (not the content).

The deposit is not refundable if a client fails to attend a session without sufficient notice. Or especially in case of children, if they fail to ‘perform’ on the day of the session.

Every effort will be made by the photographer to avoid a non refund at Laura’s discretion.

For sessions that are booked outside, in the event of bad weather (Laura will keep a keen eye on the weather forecast), alternative arrangements on another date can be made to suit both the client and Laura.

Full payment of the balance of the session will be required prior to the photographs being dispatched. A full invoice can be supplied upon request .

Additional Expenses

Occasionally there are unavoidable additional expenses (mostly travel related) when discussing possible locations of the session.

Admittance charges for locations will also be charged in addition to the session fee.

Should the location be outside of the desired radius of Laura, the client will be subject to a higher fee which takes into consideration the additional mileage.

Laura will try to include all of the additional charges in the initial quote for the session.

Terms of use and copyright

It is understood Laura Hotz Photography needs no prior consent to use or display any images taken in her portfolios, website, social media and advertising.Permission is usually sought in advance of posting images to any social media channels and any objections are generally honoured. None of the images will be used unless Laura has permission from the client.

The client may not use any images created by Laura Hotz Photography without prior consent.

Copyright of all images remains the property of Laura Hotz Photography. Any images stored digitally or otherwise are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988.
